Service Rules

  • Minimum Load: The minimum charge for serviced laundry is 6kg.
  • Standard Process: It is your responsibility to ensure garments are suitable for our standard 40° wash and low-heat dry. Any requested variation from our standard process is carried out at your own risk.
  • Check Pockets: Please check for pens, coins, or paper. We are not responsible for damage caused by items left in pockets.
  • Weight Basis: Service washes priced by weight are charged on the incoming weight, not the outgoing weight.
  • Colour Separation: We do not separate colours by default unless that has been requested, and additional charges may apply.
  • Unclaimed Items: Items not collected after 30 days will be disposed of.
  • Inspection Before Leaving: Please check cleaned items before leaving the shop. We may refuse complaints raised significantly later where the issue could have been checked at collection.

Collection & Delivery

  • Minimum Order: £30.00 for free collection/delivery.
  • No-Show Fee: A £10.00 fee applies if we cannot collect/deliver as scheduled without 2 hours’ notice.
  • Bagging Surcharge: An additional £20.00 surcharge may apply if our driver is required to bag items for you.
  • Service Area: Collection and delivery availability is offered at our discretion and may be refused outside the usual service conditions.

Subscriptions (Clean Bean Subscriptions)

  • Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly.
  • Cancellation: Please give at least 1 week’s notice before your next monthly renewal if you want the subscription to end cleanly.
  • Changes: Plan changes for future billing periods may be applied from the next renewal date rather than mid-cycle.
  • Refunds: If a subscription is cancelled part-way through a billing period, any refund or adjustment is assessed against usage, standard non-subscription rates, and any applicable fees or discounts rather than unused headline allowance alone. A pro-rata refund is not guaranteed.
  • Express Terms: Where a subscription includes express handling, that does not include Saturday or Sunday delivery and does not include Sunday locker drop.
  • Household Saver: Household Saver gives 25% off eligible launderable household items only. It does not apply to items requiring specialist cleaning or dry cleaning, and item eligibility remains subject to inspection and acceptance.
  • Savings Basis: Household Saver savings are applied against our prevailing standard pricing for the eligible service at the time of booking or processing.
  • Guides & References: Published allowances, overage guides, effective-rate examples, and turnaround references are provided for comparison and planning only. They do not guarantee suitability, acceptance, turnaround, or final pricing for every item mix or route.

Self-Service

Self-service machines are used at your own risk. Please check machines for foreign objects before use.

  • Prompt Collection: Please collect self-service items promptly once cycles have finished. Items left for extended periods may be removed from machines or, in some circumstances, disposed of.
  • Machine Checks: While we make every effort to keep machines fit for use, customers are advised to check a machine before starting a cycle.

Claims, Liability & Accounts

  • Missing Item Claims: Laundry items are not individually tagged as standard, so we cannot accept open-ended claims for missing items without supporting evidence.
  • Damage & Loss: Where a claim is accepted, any compensation is limited and assessed reasonably against the circumstances, the available evidence, the age of the item, and the service used.
  • Accounts & Credit: Any account or credit facility is offered at our discretion and may be altered or withdrawn if payment is not made promptly and in full.
  • Right To Refuse Service: We reserve the right to refuse service, collection, delivery, or entry where appropriate.
